Southport Flying Club Fires Up the Bunnings BBQ for Angel Flight
On 24 January , the Southport Flying Club swapped wings for tongs, hosting a hugely successful Bunnings Sausage Sizzle at Bunnings Arundel . Led by club member Ian Swift , a dedicated team of club member volunteers served up sausages, onions (no extra charge), and plenty of smiles - all in support of Angel Flight Australia. Westpac Rescue Helicopter Training at Southport
There was some impressive flying on display at YSPT today, with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter from Surf Life Saving Queensland Aviation conducting retrieval practice at Southport Flying Club.
